Help Kate Breathe

Donation protected
Kate has had a deviated septum for years and has been terrified of surgery, but it's time to breathe again. Her breathing has become increasingly labored and it has started to make singing and even speaking with support difficult.

This surgery is scheduled for the end of January and she needs the funds as soon as possible.

Doctors will flatten the "trauma area" where Kate was hit as a child by a baseball and will remove the excess cartilage that formed.

She didn't know that breathing through only one nostril was abnormal until she got to college and her acting professor asked if she had been hit in the face with something and if she had a deviated septum. It sounds funny, but it's true! The breathing exercise seemed normal to her but her acting teacher told her to get it checked out. That spring break, an ENT confirmed what her acting teacher thought.

Something as simple as catching a cold is debilitating to Kate. She also suffers multiple sinus infections a year and constant migraines because of her deviated septum. This surgery will help her continue to be healthy.

There's no time like the present since unfortunately Kate is still out of work due to coronavirus and needs help. The timing of this surgery will help her to fully recover and learn to sing and speak again properly before touring the world with her shows.

She plans to update everyone and would love to give a private zoom concert when she is recovered to all that have helped.
