I’m going to China!
Several months ago, I began the process of applying for a teaching position at an International School in China. Recently, I received an offer to teach religious studies at a high school in Wuhan, a city of about 10 million people, is located in Central China at the intersection of the Yangtze and Han Rivers.
In July, I will depart for a two-year assignment teaching religious studies at the private school. This is an amazing opportunity to live in another culture, and to influence young people in a number of ways.
This is NOT a missionary assignment, so my monthly stipend, housing, transportation, and insurance are all included. Mandarin language lessons are even provided.
I do need to raise about $4000 to cover the costs of setting up my household in China and for other expenses related to the work I will be doing.
I am offering some thank-you gifts to those who choose to donate:
$25 = A one-of-a-kind photo print from China taken by me personally
$100 = A personalized video from China (for which you may submit questions)
$250 = A photo book of pictures taken by me in China
