Help Us Help Karina Beat Cancer

Anyone who knows Karina knows one thing. She is one of the most genuine and caring people you will ever meet. 

Some other things you might (or might not) know: Karina is a single mom to a beautiful daughter, Evelyn (15) and is one of the hardest working and caring kindergarten teachers around.

In Spring of 2018, Karina was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She underwent chemo and radiation throughout the summer and was given the all clear.

Unfortunately in December 2018, the cancer returned. Karina was faced with very few options this time around (one of which was a major surgery that would have seriously impacted the quality of her life), so she has decided to pursue a more holistic and natural approach this time around. Because of this, her insurance is not covering any costs associated with her treatment. The costs of her treatment and her day to day expenses are becoming overwhelming.  

We as her team have known her for over 10 years and she is not one who asks for help (ever). Please help us in helping her take a burden off of her during this difficult time. Thank you for the love and support of our incredible colleague and friend!
