I've wanted to study abroad nearly as long as I can remember. This semester, I was accepted to a very prestigious summer program called Community Health and Tradition Medicine. It's a dream come true, but I won't be able to attend unless I can gather the money to pay the remainder of the tuition.
On this trip, I'll meet traditional Chinese doctors and learn the way they practice medicine. I'll get to talk with patients at the Women's Health and HIV Center about their treatments. And I'll be learning Mandarin the entire time!
I need to pay the rest of the tuition by May 1st. I've already won a $3000 scholarship towards it, and now the money I'm raising will go towards the rest of the tuition and towards my plane ticket. I'd be more than appreciative to anyone who is able to donate even a small amount as every dollar gets me that much closer to making it to China.
