Help Karen Hagen Heal

On Memorial day our mother Karen Hagen was involved in an accident where her horse fell with her resulting in a catastrophic hit to her head. Her son Caton parelli whitnessed the accident as well as her granddaughters.She was rushed by helicopter to the ICU while under an induced coma which she remained in for 48 hrs. She suffered a fractured skull in three places, leaving her with no speech and loss of motor skills.   After two weeks in the hospital Karen has been improving.  She is able to speak again although she still has no memory of the accident and some very short term memory when holding a conversation.  The focus now is regaining the ability to walk again. We hope to move Karen to a rehabilitation facility soon.   The costs of the hospital stay are overwhelming due to the fact they are uninsured at this time.   Karens husband Jim has been by her side every day, friends and family have visiting as often as possible offering much needed support which has helped to heal her spirit.  To heal her body and mind which need to be retrained to do basic functions, we are asking for help financially.  From the bottom of our hearts we appreciate any amount given along with your most positive thoughts and prayers.  Lets get Karen Hagen back in the saddle again.
