Help Kane & Nicole - lost house WINGHAM FLOOD 2021

Around Midnight last night (19/03/21) my brother & his wife woke to find water lapping at their house and had to make a last-minute evacuation to higher ground with their four month old baby. Their house is now completely under and was not insured for flood damage due to the house being in a 1 in 100 year flood zone.

The waters rose quicker than expected and they did not manage to get out any of their belongings apart from a few things for their baby. While they are safe and dry they are going to have to start all over again when the time comes that they can re-enter their home and the clean up begins. 

Kane & Nicole are not the type of people who ever ask for (or are willing to recieve) help, yet they are always the first ones to show up and lend a hand for others. Considering that Nicole is on maternity leave and Kane will have to take unexpected time off work I feel that they could use a hand to get back on their feet.

The main picture is of their house around 9am today (20/03/21) and it's still flooding there, so more will go under yet. Other pictures are of them evacuating and/or the current situation in Wingham, which is still worsening.
