Help Kai Pay For Heart Surgery

In 2015, I noticed that my legs started to swell, which I assumed was a result of working three jobs. I also noticed that after minimum activity, I became increasingly tired; and whenever I got hot it became too hard to breathe.
After taking some advice from family and friends, I decided to go to the hospital to see if something was going on. They initially told me that my body was holding on to excess fluids and after being admitted for a few days, I was sent home.
The next night, I woke up out of my sleep clutching my chest. I was in so much pain I started crying. I was rushed to the hospital and after they did some test they diagnosed me with congestive heart failure.
As time went on, it did seem like things started to get better with the medication I was prescribed to take, but I ended up going back to the hospital. The doctors told me my heart was failing and that I would eventually need a Heart Transplant.
In 2016, I underwent surgery to have a pacemaker implanted. This device saved my life on more than one occasion.
Eventually, my doctor suggested that I get a device called an LVAD which is a Left Ventricular Assist Device to help support my heart until the transplant was available. Most recently, the cardiologists decided to go with a device called an Impella, an intravascular microaxial blood pump that delivers blood flow from the left ventricle to the aorta, instead until a heart becomes available.
Since the beginning of 2019, I've been admitted back to hospital for three separate occasions due to my heart issues. As of April 30, I still remain hospitalized. Because of my inability to work, I have not been able to keep up with my expenses and I've received an eviction notice.
As I'm sure you are all aware: medical bills, co-pays, and every day living expenses can add up, and due to my condition, I have not been able to financially support myself.
I am asking for funds to help pay for a life-altering procedure that will not only put my life back on track, but also help me achieve my dream of becoming a math teacher and baking in my spare time.
I've been told my cheesecakes are the best :)
