Help Jye to compete at US OPEN 2018

Jye has been training 7 years with DK Martial Arts. In the last couple of years Jye has developed a love for tournaments and competition. As a very young driven child, he set his sight on some big goals and started the hard work to get there.
Jye trains up to 14 hours a week with DK Martial in Chirnside Park and Bayswater, he also puts in hours of training at home and has private competition training with his instructors on a weekly bases.
Jyes love for martial arts and for competition has seen him consistently place in many competitions in the 10 year old age group. Jyes favourite events are Weapons forms and point sparrings.
He started out placing in the top 3 and now is consistently placing in the top 2 and even winning some major titles along the way. Over the last 2 years Jye has won ISKA (International Sport Karate Association) State Titles in victoria two years in a row, and Grand Champion point sparring.
As Jye has taken himself to another level in Victoria, last year he also set his sights on interstate tournaments where he placed 1st at the 2016 Australian Open in point sparring and then returned for National championships to now be the 2016 ISKA Australian Champion for his age group. In 2017 Jye also placed 1st in point sparring for Nationals, and won the Grand Champion!
With all the hard training in October 2017 Jye entered the ISKA Worlds Cup in Sydeny and placed 2nd for both point sparring and extream weapons
Jye is working towards the 2018 ISKA US Open World Championships being held at Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida.
ISKA Australia will consist of a team of about 40 competitors heading over to represent Australia at this world wide event that is televised on ESPN and is the pinnacle of sports martial arts.
While training hard every day, Jye is working on fundraising and looking for sponsors to help support him in his quest to become a World Champion in his sport.
These funds will help with the cost of flights and accomodation around America, and allow him to compete and also train with the best in the world! The new skills and knowledge he will learn will be priceless to Jye and help him on his journey to achieve to be one of the best in the sport he is very passionate about!
