Help Junior and Fam after Halo's passing
My name is Lauren and I am seeking your help in assisting Nicole, George, and their children after the tragic death of their beloved Halo, an albino boxer who served as a companion animal to their son on the spectrum.
Nicole and George's son, Junior, is three and is autistic. Nicole had Halo since he was just a puppy and Halo served as Junior's best friend and protector. Halo helped Junior cope and they were inseparable. Halo greeted everyone, literally with a smile on his face, so excited to be pet. The love Halo showed to his family, and they to him, was pure and sweet and meant so much to them.
On July 1st, 2021, Halo was accidently let out of the family apartment in Spokane Valley. Knowing how important Halo was to Junior, George and Nicole, along with friends and neighbors, began a thorough search for him across Spokane and surrounding areas. Nicole was prepared to offer a reward for his return.
On July 7th Halo was found brutally beaten and killed and left to rot in the backseat of a car. Covered in waste, blood, and flies, George was the one to find Halo and police were called out to assist, but little evidence has led the police to feel like they won't be able to figure out what happened. Halo was wearing his collar and still had his leash on.
Obviously George and Nicole as well as their kids are horrified and devastated. Junior no longer has his best friend and doesn't understand why Halo is gone.
I am hoping that you, reader, will see this story and understand the deep loss the family feels. I would like to assist them with cost to have Halo cremated, as well as assist them with finding another companion/service animal to help Junior.
Somebody out there knows something about what happened to Halo, and while the family may not get answers I hope that this can help them in some way. Thank you for reading and for all your support.
