Hi everyone, my name is Chrystal Flores. I am known for Juan Nandi’s fiancée.
August 08, 2022 around 12:00am we were walking down Kedzie & Lawrence. We were heading home to get some rest.
When I’ve noticed two men approaching us on foot and opened fire.
My fiancé had put me behind his back and had covered me completely with his body.
I was shot only once in my right leg and he sadly received more than 8 shots to his body. One had hit his heart and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
I’d like to raise as much as we can together as a community to help with any funeral expenses… any left over will be sent towards his family. I’d like to spread love to stop the gun violence. No man or human being deserves to be killed in cold blood.
