Help Juanita & Rob with medical expenses.

Donation protected
Hello - my name is Debby and I have created this GoFundMe page for my sister and brother-in-law, Juanita and Rob Martin.

Juanita and Rob have been faced with many serious health conditions, which include: Juanita has several serious medical issues, such as: COPD, Severe Diabetes, CHF, Asthma, Thyroid problems, some heart issues, a rather large lymphedema, Obesity, Extreme Neuropathy, and Diabetic Ulcers on both feet, which is being treated by the Wound Center at the hospital. She has just recently been diagnosed with mouth and tongue cancer and is waiting on a CT Scan to show actual extent and depth of the cancer. As soon as the CT Scan is done her doctor will be scheduling ber for surgery immediately. She is also receiving oxygen 24/7 due to her medical issues and when she does try to stand up, her oxygen drops quickly. Rob's medical issues include: Amyloidosis which is defined as a disorder marked by deposition of amyloid in the body. According to the Mayo Clinic, Amyloidosis is a rare disease that occurs when an abnormal protein, called amyloid, builds up in your organs and interferes with their normal function. These organs can include the heart, kidneys, liver, spleen, nervous system and digestive tract. From what I understand, amyloidosis affects the proteins in the body and can be life-threatening. This means that even though this disease can be life-threatening, it can be treated but not cured and through this it can cause some extreme pain. He has also been receiving 2 chemo shots a week for the past four months that he receives in Greenville and when he gets back home from getting his shots he has to take an additional10 pills of one medication and 5 pills from the other. These pills are taken all at one time. This is for the treatment of cancer in the blood proteins in the body.

As you can see, they have been and will continue to be facing many serious medical diseases, which has kept them both unable to work. A lot of their needs are not being taken care of because they do not have the funds.

I am hoping and praying to help them with raising some funds so they can buy their groceries, pay their living expenses, such as, light bill, water bill, telephone bill, and gas bill for cooking and other necessities such as medicine and medical bills that are for their care and treatment by their great doctors.

Although they are facing a long treatment and recovery road, they still keep hope and faith in receiving the help they need and in the kindness and help from those who can help them.

As hard as it is for them to admit, they are not able to do anything without assistance. What is unfortunate is that they continue to face problems every day with being able to get the medical equipment that would help them with their numerous doctor appointments and treatment. Juanita's
doctors have repeatedly requested her not to be on her feet; however, without the assistance of a wheelchair, she has no choice.

This is a lot for a young couple that is only in their early 50's. Their only hopes, wishes and prayers is to have the strength they need to get through the
pain and just stop hurting and get well so they can live a normal life and be able to spend time with their family. They have three children and five beautiful grandchildren that they are unable to visit with due to their limited circumstances.

We know God is our Father and He loves us and we put all our Faith in Him. What Juanita and Rob need right now are prayers, support, and anyone that can and will to please open their heart and donate to this fund to help them out and to give them hope that there is still goodness and love in the days to come.

Thank you so much for your time, your prayers and your donations and we pray you and your families have a blessed  Merry Christmas and always remember  - "Families are Forever".

We love y'all and may God's blessings be plentiful for you and your family.
