Help Joyoanta to start his Master's degree
Hello all, this is Arin and I am fundraising for my childhood friend Joyoanta. I have known Joyoanta since the first day of pre-school. He is one of the few friends I have kept in touch with since moving to the UK. Joyoanta always excelled in his studies, he won scholarships in the 5th and 8th grades. I remember he always took time to spend with our fellow classmates when they did not understand a topic in class. It was always Joyoanta’s ambition to study at a good university to complete his master's. He has an offer to study MSc in the IT program at UWE Bristol, UK and he needs your help. No amount is small, your every little help will make him closer to success. So please help generously to achieve his goal.
Joyoanta's Background:
I am Joyoanta Banik. Recently, I received several admission offers from some reputed universities to start my MSc degree. I have chosen UWE Bristol, UK for its scholarship proposal and affordable tuition fees compared to others.
I will be the first person from my family to pursue Post Graduate Studies. My parents were immensely proud when I showed my offer letter to study this program at UWE Bristol. Our happiness and excitement quickly diminished when we realised the expense needed for this master in the UK.
Unfortunately, I am not able to start this degree due to insufficient funds. So, I am seeking your help to raise sufficient funds to complete my master’s degree. I believe any challenging situation can be conquered with joint efforts.
I am from a lower-middle-class family from Bangladesh, a developing country. Many prospective students drop out from their path of higher studies because fulfilling fundamental needs is harsh here. I was no exception too. My academic journey was not smooth but I kept myself motivated to overcome those challenging situations and accomplish them. During my bachelor's degree, I was fortunate enough to gain a scholarship to attend Daffodil International University which is one of the top 10 universities in my country.
While I was at the university I worked part-time as an IT consultant in an online-based learning center. My father retired a couple of years ago so I was the only earning member of the family. Just when I started working full time and planning to study abroad I became unemployed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With these circumstances, it is almost impossible to get a bank loan approved for higher education.
Financial background:
In this way, I have accumulated 60% of all fees & expenses to accelerate my postgraduate studies abroad so that I wouldn’t step back from my aspiration of the higher studies road map. I am trying hard to manage the remaining amount of funds from different sources to reach my goal. Even though my family's financial condition is poor, they are trying their best to support me.
