Help Joshua Fight Epithelioid Sarcoma

Aloha everyone,

My name is Lovey, and I'm reaching out on behalf of my incredible uncle, Joshua, who is bravely fighting Epithelioid Sarcoma—an extremely rare and aggressive form of cancer. Joshua was diagnosed in June 2024 and has since undergone three cycles of intense chemotherapy followed by multiple surgeries. Despite his strength and resilience, the cancer has metastasized throughout his body and has progressed to stage 4. The most urgent concern is that it has spread to his lungs, spine, and scalp.

Joshua is one of the most selfless and caring people we know—a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend who has always put others before himself. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.

Because this disease is so rare and aggressive, our hope is to get Joshua to MD Anderson, where specialists are experienced in treating Epithelioid Sarcoma. Unfortunately, medical insurance provides limited coverage for out-of-state care, and many of the associated costs—including travel, lodging, and treatment—will have to be paid out-of-pocket.
