Help Josh Play Competative Hockey!

"Oh no, is he playing us today?"..."It's been a joy to watch you on the ice this season, it is rare to see a kid at your age so teachable and with your passion and talent ...."We call that move, THE JOSH", ..."This is his first year playing hockey in a league?!?!" Those were a few of the things that people were saying to and about Josh in his first year of hockey. Josh says: "When I went to sort outs I was nervous.  My parents and brother said to just do my best, but I knew that a lot of the kids played hockey a lot longer than I did and would be way better than me. I could barely transition from forward to backward skating, or stop and I struggled to even do a crossover. I made Atom B and I was really happy.  I  love to  study hockey skills on YouTube  every day, and practice my shots in the basement, especially bar downs! I just want to keep trying to get better. This year our team even won gold in one of out of town tournaments.  This season we even won the divisional final and Superfinal!  What a season, I ended with 52 goals and 12 assists. I am  so glad I finally got to play on a team and best of all I had great coaches and made lots of new friends. This was my 3rd game of the season -   I got called up to play on Peewee teams 8 times which was awesome!Hockey really is my is my passion! Come out and see me next year when I play competitive for the  first time or lace up your skates and join me at the ODR ( I'll be the one with my signature red helmet (man, I really hope I never outgrow that thing!)" After asking for 2 years to play and our family making sacrifies (we can no longer do for health reasons ) we are calling on our community to help us make this happen for Josh.  The money raised will assist in paying his registration, tryout and team fees and his tournament/travel fees. Thanks for any amount you can donate to help us to give Josh this awesome opportunity to play Canada's national sport at a Competitive level!
