help jonathan get a hip replacement!

hi friends. earlier this year jonathan was diagnosed with a degenerative bone condition called avascular necrosis, which is a disease that kills your bone tissue due to a lack of blood supply. in this case, a collapse of the femoral head in his right hip. we’re not really sure how it happened! we have some ideas! namely, medical negligence. but that doesn’t really matter, what matters is that he gets back to feeling good and healthy in his body. he has been in a ton of pain for almost a year now (the insurance he had last year took about 8 months to approve an MRI), and the last few months have been pretty rough, with some days being much worse than others. unfortunately, AVN isn’t curable, and we found out recently that his left hip is showing early signs of necrosis, and may eventually also need to be replaced. i’ve started this gofundme because hip replacements are not cheap, and it turns out the service industry isn’t the best when it comes to paid time off (he will be recovering for 2-3 months). please give what you can, if you can, and if you can’t, just say something nice to our sweet jonny because he deserves it.
