My name is John Trieu. I was born in Vietnam and migrated to the US in 1985 as an immigrant when I was 16. I've lived in the US for 40 years; have a bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems; decent job, was married and have 3 children; pay taxes. Due to the recent change in immigration laws, I am required to check in with ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) every few weeks as they have asked me to self deport. I have been working with an attorney here in FL and another in MN to get relief from deportation proceedings. This process has put great financial burden on me which I am seeking help.

First and foremost, I am asking for prayers that God would intervene and save me from this trouble. I am in great distress as I have such an unimaginably difficult time going through each day until the appointment with ICE. Being a single Father with one child living with me who's 16, supporting another living with Mom 10 , and my 23 year old also with Mom that needs me.

I pray that God would open doors and touch hearts so that things would be normal and that I could continue to live here and be a part of the commmunity I love.
