Help John Rossall rest and finish his book!

Donation protected

John Rossall has brought joy to millions of fans, not only through his songwriting and performances with The Glitter Band at their peak, but also adding his musical touch on sessions which led to classic performances like Tom Jones' "It's Not Unusual" and The Walker Brothers' "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore", not to mention hundreds of live performances over the years.

Fed up with recording without proper budgets and weaselly managers and conscious of changing times, John hadn't tackled any new material since 1974 . . . until last year, when he unleashed what was widely acknowledged as one of the best glam albums of all time, his solo album "The Last Glam In Town". Praise and sales were plentiful.

Unfortunately, just as he started thinking about slowing down, John's health took am unexpected downward turn. He's now battling several types of terminal cancer, and while shows scheduled for this summer have been cancelled for health reasons, John is determined to write his autobiography . . . an amazing untold story of hard luck and the high life, encounters with many of rock and roll's most famous characters, and an approach to life which should be the envy of most storied stars.

We're helping to raise money for John so that he can get to work on finishing his life story, without the stress and strain of money issues. We'll be posting updates with special news, and we'll try to get John to pry loose a few good tales beyond what's in the book, to share here. We're not asking for much, just a little cash to ease his mind and tally up some of his life adventures to share with his bands, fans, friends and supporters.

John's being well-cared for by what's left of the NHS, his wonderful partner and many others. But he's not been able to get out and do what he loves, not too mention earning the money he needs to support his modest lifestyle. This money will be given to him as a cash gift so that he can pay regular bills, get back and forth from treatments and primarily to alleviate the burdensome concern of covering his concern.

Thank you very much!
