Help Joes Journey Home

The morning of September 9th, 2017 Joseph DiOrio was on his way to work when he found himself in a horrible car accident, which ended up changing his life and all of our lives forever. When Joe arrived at the hospital , we as a family heard his doctors say things you only hear on T.V. "He might not wake up", "If he does wake up, he wont remember who you are". But, with the stubbornness in Joe and the love and support from his loved ones, Joe beat those odds placed on him by his own doctors; he woke up. The doctors explained to us that our Joe will have disabilities and may or may not be himself. Fast forward to today, after nearly seven months in the hospital, Joe is coming home! That being said, Joe and all of us will need a lot of help in making his homecoming as smooth of a transition as possible. He is going to need a lot of special equipment such as a transport van and a wheelchair to name a few. With your help, we will be able to help Joe live the life he almost lost to the fullest. Even if we meet 10% of our goal, anything and EVERYTHING will help.
