Help Joeleen Keep Her Home
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Amy Weske. My best friend, Joeleen Famoso, needs our help.
Through no fault of her own, Joeleen was laid off from her job late last year. At first, we all thought, it's OK, she can collect unemployment and will find something soon. She has a great personality and a lot of experience. She is sure to find a new job in no time. Sadly, it has not been the case.
Joeleen's full-time job over the last several months has been job hunting! She has sent her resume out and applied for hundreds of jobs. She has had many interviews, even multiple interviews with many companies, but still no job.
Joeleen's unemployment payments have run out. She is afraid she will lose her townhouse and be left homeless.
The job search has been complicated by Joeleen's age and health issues. It isn't supposed to be the case, but some companies shy away from hiring people in their late 50s. She also has trouble with mobility (painful plantar fasciitis in both feet, lymphedema in both legs, and bad knees).
Joeleen is a giving person. She has volunteered with the youth group at her church for longer than I have known her (20 years). She is the type of person who is always ready to help. Now she needs our help. Please give what you can to help Joeleen keep her townhouse!!
Thank you.
