Help Jodie kick cancers ASS!!

I actually normally help write these for other people and help with other people's fundraising, I never imagined I'd have the nightmare of writing one for my beautiful sister.


Only a few short months ago my sister was experiencing some pain in her bowel and went and had some scans done... we got the dreaded and horrible news the pain was a malignant tumour and needed to be removed.. along with most of her bowel. (Around 60 % of the bowel was removed.)


Sitting waiting patiently and with a false sense of security hoping it was all gone..... we were told it's metastasised and advancing and the fight wasn't over.


We were waiting for the results back to say it was done and dusted and all removed... unfortunately and very sadly it wasn't, it had spread to the lymph nodes and else where in the fluid around the organs. (Peritoneal fluid)

Fast forward a few more weeks we have now started chemotherapy and currently doing everything we can to support her positive mind and giving her the best diet and supplements to support a healthy body to give her the best chance possible and keeping her fit and healthy for the fight!


I know a lot of people sadly and heartbreakingly go trough the same thing and cancer doesn't discriminate age or race it's really scary when it's you/your loved one in the situation, I feel selfish even asking for help as so many other people need it too, but this is the most imortant person in the world to me and I'm already doing anything and everything I can to make sure she gets the treatments she needs and doesn't have added stress on top of her health.


Obviously with her being sick she's unable to work and having some much needed time to recover heal and get rid of this insidious disease! The funds go directly on jodie's;

Supportive therapy during chemo
Special dietary requirements
Travel to and from hospital
Specialist appointments
General living due to not being able to work.


So please anything at all would greatly appreciated. We are doing some other fundraising events to raise funds too just starting here.


I really just need to make sure she is ok and getting the best of everything we can give her and give her some relief in a really shitty speed bump in her life.
