Help J'Mari while he is hospitalized

Donation protected

In June, J'Mari became the 152 lb Rhode Island State Wrestling Champ. He graduated Ponaganset High School with honors and was awarded the highly sought after, prestigious 2021 Ideal Chieftain Award. He was ready to make the move to Virginia where he would attend Washington and Lee, ranked 9th in the country in Liberal Arts.

Just two short weeks later, J'Mari's life was turned upside-down. He became sick.

On July 16th, he went in for some testing and was immediately admitted into the Hospital where he has remained for the past month.

Our STRONG Athletic Healthy J'Mari has lost almost 40 lbs, requires blood Transfusions every other day, and is in tremendous pain...yet remains hopeful. His handsome SMILE comes out every now and then to let those around him know he is a fighter.

While doctors speculate what the cause is, their treatments have not been successful.

We pray to Saint Anthony to guide the Doctors to find the answers we so desperately need.

We pray to Saint Jude to give J'Mari and his dad the strength to keep fighting and stay positive.

We pray to our Mother Mary to take care of J'Mari while none of us are allowed into the Hospital to comfort him.

As you can imagine, a month in the hospital with no discharge date in sight has lead to many unexpected bills and expenses. The money they receive will help lessen the financial burden so that Serinol can focus on his son and their health.

We thank his Friends, Family, Teammates, Coaches, and Teachers, for their love and support.

1. Who you are and your relationship to the parties you're raising funds for?  I am Cindy Joyce, The PHS Wrestling Team Mom.  I love J'Mari like a son.
2. How the funds will be used? Thank you to all who have donated.  After 70 days in the hospital, bills have piled up.  These funds are going to be used to pay off as much as possible so that J'Mari can focus on getting healthy without added financial stress.
3. If you intend to withdraw the money yourself, include how you plan to send the funds to the parties you're raising money for or how you plan to use the money on their behalf. Since I was the one to create the Go Fund Me, I will withdraw the funds and give them directly to J'Mari.  He and his father will then be able to pay off some of the debt accrued over the past 70 days.
