Help Jillian Walk Again
Donation protected
On October 10, one of my best friends was severely injured in a traffic accident.
That day, Jillian Leung, who is studying to be a school teacher, tripped on a crowded sidewalk, and a school bus ran over her left foot two times. Since then, she has had three surgeries and is still unable to walk.
Since she lived in student housing and had to withdraw from school, she now has nowhere to stay when she's discharged from the hospital.
And until her injuries have healed and she's had intensive physical therapy, she won't be able to return to school or get a job to pay her bills.
At the moment, Jillian is paying for all of her expenses out of pocket, which is unsustainable.
Her doctor wants her to receive outpatient treatment for her foot injury, but without a source of income or a place to live, this is impossible. The only possible option is an asylum with 18 beds to a room, which would put her at risk of infection and losing her foot entirely.
Her injuries and skin grafts require daily cleaning and inspection.
Please help me support my friend as she recovers from an accident that has totally changed the course of her life.
