Help Jhabri Afford HRT and Top Surgery

Hello everyone!
My name is Jhabri Eshé Hughes and I suffer from gender dysphoria. I am seeking help to raise funds for HRT (testosterone prescriptions) and transgender medical services from Plume, a transgender/queer led medical program, for a year as well as some extra cushion money to put away for top surgery. Any and all donations are welcome because at the end it will help me achieve the goal of being the person I always see in the mirror.
While growing up, I may not have shown it, but I was miserable. I wanted to be one of the guys so badly, but no matter what I did I wasn't man/boy/male enough. So many small moments in my life add up to now such as being uncomfortable with my body despite having a body "girls would die for," to getting caught in the living room playing video games with my stepbrothers shirtless (I was about six, so I hadn't grown breasts yet) to being teased with names such as Jha-He, He/she (like Eshé, my middle name), Juwanna Mann, and many more.
Upon moving to NYC where I knew no one and had to sit with my childhood traumas, queerness, conquering a new city as well as adjusting to adulthood and achieving a masters degree in performance studies from NYU, I suffered eight anxiety attacks and as someone who has never had one in my life, I knew something had to give and that is the lie I've been living.
The confidence in/with myself didn't grow over night and neither will this fundraiser, but with patience, love, and an open mind, anything can be achieved - including being yourself. Thank you for reading and allowing me into your space. Let's achieve this together!
