Help Support Jessica Shirks with Loss of Father

Hello, Jennifer and Katie here. Thank you for visiting this GoFundMe page we have set up for Jessica (she would be so mad if she knew we did this, so please shhh! She has no idea).

For those of you who don't know, Jessica's dad, Robert, was involved in a bad motorcycle accident on Thursday, May 13, 2021. The accident left him with a broken collarbone, several broken ribs, and the worst part - a brain bleed and injury. He spent the last month in ICU and although he coded 3x times over that course of time, he came back fighting every time.

We are saddened to say that unfortunately, Robert lost his fight on Monday, June 14th. To say Jessica and her family are devastated is an understatement. Jessica spent the last month at the hospital every single day, which meant she was not working and has had zero income coming in. Robert was not only Jessica's father, but her VERY best friend. Their relationship was one everyone would hope to have.

We want to help Jessica in anyway we can, so we thought to set up a GoFundMe that could help her with all of the expenses and hardship that come with these type of life changing events. Funds will go to Jessica to pay towards medical/hospital bills, funeral costs, and bills at home. We know a lot of people are struggling, but if you are able to, please consider making a contribution. Any amount helps and no amount is too small. If you are unable to donate, that's okay too, prayers are great and appreciated as well.
