Help Jess McCormick Kick Cancer

We have started a fundraising page for Jessica McCormick and her family. Unfortunately Jess got some heart wrenching news yesterday that the (cmml) she was first diagnosed with had turned into Acute Myeloid Leukimia (AML), which means not only will she be in hospital for 2 months for transplant but will have to be hospitalized 4 to 5 weeks before her transplant undergoing strong chemotherapy to get her levels stable to proceed with transplant.  Shane (Jess's boyfriend) will also need to be off work to be by Jess's side during this difficult time.  Chemo therapy will be done in London and transplant will be done in Ottawa Toronto or Buffalo.

This will be a huge expense to them while they are away sadly, and having to have amazing people back home to take care of their 4 year old son.  Doctors say this is a huge financial burden.

 Jess will be admitted to the hospital on Monday (September 30th) in London.  Once her levels start to show she is good enough for transplant she will be moving to another facility for transplant.  Jess will not be able to work for a minimum of 1.5 years.

During this time her family will be supporting her and by her side through every step of her journey.  Jess is such a fun loving, caring person I am hoping others are able to donate to help ease the costs that occur during this difficult time.
