Help Jerry Seavey Heal

As many of you know, Jerry fell down a flight of stairs that caused a severe brain injury. He suffered a brain bleed for 10 hours before getting treatment. After 10 days in Neuro ICU and Cardiac ICU for a complication, he is finally in an intensive Neuro and Physical Rehab. His recovery will take up to 18 months, only a small percentage will be covered by insurance, and will deplete our savings. He will be moved to a rehab facility on September 8th. We want the best possible care for this amazing man who has given so much to so many.

Jerry's journey to recovery is not expected to be easy, given that the brain damage is significant, yet he is showing remarkable improvement as the brain swelling decreases. Most of his physical functions are returning. He can stand, and is beginning to walk. He recognizes me (his wife) most of the time. His communication is confused since the damage was to his frontal lobes. There is every possible chance for a recovery that will bring him back to living a full and meaningful life. The funds raised will be used towards paying for this long journey and covering costs related to various forms of physical and neurological therapies and a long list of medical expenses during rehab and after. The rehab we are hoping to get him in is private and while he meets their criteria for improvement, meaning he no longer needs round the clock care, it is well beyond what our insurance will cover.

If you had the pleasure of knowing Jerry in your life, you would know that he is a fighter! He has come back before from a major illness, and now we have to help him to come back from this as well. Help bring Jerry back to stand in front of the classroom again and share his beautiful world of NLP and Coaching teachings with us all.
