Help Jen’s Cancer Fight
Donation protected
Two years ago my sister, Jennifer (Downing) Colarusso, was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, the most aggressive form of breast cancer. After multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, and an experimental immunotherapy treatment, she went into remission.
Shortly before Christmas, Jennifer received the horrifying news that the cancer had returned and had spread to her liver. My sister, her husband Phil, and their two young children Noah and Sara are devastated.
My sister has begun another round of chemotherapy, the side-effects of which are horrendous. She is very sick, and is unable to get out bed or leave the house most days. She has had to make the heart-wrenching decision to resign from her position as a special education teacher.
This virulent disease is destructive on many levels, but one way we can help is to offer some financial assistance. Your donation will help with lost wages, medical bills, parking and fuel costs for cancer treatment in Boston, and numerous other expenses Jen and Phil have at this difficult time.
Thank You,
Christen Downing
