Jenny has been living with a big heart her whole life, literally and figuratively. She is an amazing person inside and out and needs our help. She is a 52 year woman that urgently needs a heart surgery to replace her heart valves due to high risk of heart failure and sudden death. The treatment recommended by her doctors is replacement of melody valve and tricuspid valve.
Jenny was born with a congenital heart condition known as Wolf Parkinson White and Ebstein Anomaly of the tricuspid valve, for which she has undergone 11 surgeries during her life, including 3 open-heart surgeries plus countless hospitalizations related to the condition. Her first open-heart surgery was done at the age of 5 in Houston. Over the past year she has experienced symptoms suggestive of a progressive heart failure and after performing and echocardiogram last November in Miami, doctors found there is a significant enlargement of the heart and found the left and right atrium severely dilated, severe regurguration in the mitral valve and hypertension and severe decreased excursion in the pulmonary valve.
Jenny is a very active person and has always been considered a miracle case for all the doctors that have treated her or known her case, as her life expectancy was not promising when she was born. She was told she could never be able to give birth, but she has 2 kids that she raised alone, and she was recommended to avoid working or making much effort, but she has been able to work for a long time as a chef! Above all she maintains a great spirit and love for life, facing all these medical complications with a lot of faith.

Jenny es una mujer que ha vivido con un gran corazón toda su vida, literalmente y figurativamente. Ella tiene 52 años, pero nació una enfermedad cardíaca congénita conocida como Wolf Parkinson White y Ebstein Anomaly de la válvula tricúspide, por la cual se ha sometido a 11 cirugías durante su vida, incluidas 3 cirugías a corazón abierto más innumerables hospitalizaciones relacionadas con la afección. Ella ha sido considerada como un “Milagro” para todos los médicos que la han tratado o conocen su caso, ya que su esperanza de vida no era prometedora cuando nació.
