Help the Whittaker Family Overcome Tragedy

Hi! My name is Jill Beers O’Connell. I am creating this fundraiser for my Best Friend, Jennifer Whittaker and her kids, Casey and David. In January, Casey and her Dad, Jay Whittaker got into an accident in front of their house where Jay tragically lost his life. The loss of Jay left a huge hole in their hearts as well as so many friends and family and they still haven’t recovered. And now they are facing yet another tragedy just months after. On Tuesday afternoon, the bank behind their house started to slide and within a matter of hours the house was condemned. The house is a total loss and landslides are apparently not covered by insurance so there will be no insurance money to help. On top of that, Jen still has a mortgage on the house that needs to be paid. The property is unsafe and unfixable. They will not be able to rebuild on the property either that Jen now has to pay a mortgage for. Friends are helping them out with a place to live for them as well as their 4 dogs and 5 cats but it is not a long term solution. They are the strongest people I know but these tragedies are enough to destroy even the strongest people.

Jen, Jay, Casey and David are always the first ones to step up and help anybody in need and I know our Catskill Community wants to help and will come through for them. Any help you can give will be so appreciated. Please share the fundraiser to get this out there to further help them. They are a very proud family and won’t ask for help but they are really at a loss right now.
