Dear Family and Friends,
My dear husband, Jeffrey Perry, received a kidney transplant on December 8, 2017. After waiting almost 15 years for this kidney, Jeff finally received this miraculous gift of life. We all knew what a miracle this was after waiting for so long. What joy we all experienced! This was Jeff's third kidney transplant which is why it took so long.... he was a very difficult match. So we knew this kidney was his one and only chance for a transplant. Our two young daughters have never had a healthy father in all of their years on this planet! As Jeff's wife of 16 years, I had never had a healthy husband. So this was a Divine Miracle indeed. To be off of dialysis, after a lifetime of needing it, Jeff was so happy. We were all truly blessed.
Here we are, 7 weeks post transplant, and the medical expenses are really starting to add up. The deductibles, co-pays, and medications alone are more than we can handle every month. And of course not all prescribed medication is covered by insurance. Jeff is also not able to work right now and might not be able to for some time. We have immediate prescription and medical bills that we are unable to cover at this time and could really use some help. We are thankful for any and all assistance that you can share with us. Thank you all for caring to reach out and help us in our time of need. We are filled with such gratitude.
