Help Jeanne in her final days

Dear Friends of Jeanne and Noel:

Less than six weeks ago, my sister Jeanne went from being a healthy and active woman to being given six months to live. What started as a simple headache was diagnosed as lung cancer that had spread throughout her body and brain. After the removal of one brain tumor, Jeanne had a few days of recovery and happiness at home with her loving son, Noel, and her faithful dogs, Evan and Shotzie. She quickly regressed, and after another week in the hospital and another week in a care center, she is home under Hospice Care, where she can be in a more comfortable and familiar environment.

Jeanne can no longer take care of herself or communicate her needs. She devoted her life to raising her son Noel, mostly by herself. Now, Noel has given up his job so that he can stay home with her as her sole caregiver and make her final days as comfortable and filled with love as possible.

Over the next months and longer, Noel and Jeanne will be forced to cover her numerous medical and household expenses with very little income.

I ask you to give what you can to help Jeanne and Noel get through this difficult journey, to help Jeanne be able to stay home, and to help ensure that Noel does not have to face great financial loss along with the loss of his mother.
