Jeanie has been dancing with The School of Dance for five years, and for the last two and a half years, she’s been part of their performance dance team company. She devotes 10-12 hours each week to practicing her art and is currently a member of Nova, a company made up of 6th to 9th graders. As a 6th grader, Jeanie is one of the youngest on the team, but her dedication and passion shine through every day.

This summer, Jeanie and her dance team have the incredible opportunity to travel to New York City for a week-long educational trip. They’ll be immersed in the world of dance and theater, attending Broadway shows, seeing professional dance companies, visiting art museums, and experiencing the arts in their true element. This trip is a dream come true for Jeanie, who loves singing, dancing, and acting, and is always inspired to grow in her craft.

Jeanie’s mom and dad are covering much of the cost, but each student is asked to fundraise a portion so that friends and family can be part of this amazing journey. The funds raised will help cover airfare, food, tickets, museum visits, and hotel accommodations.
