Help Jean Rebuild Her Philippines Home

Amber Hurdle Consulting and Better Talent are raising money to rebuild our shared contract team member's home after Super Typhoon Rai slammed into the Phillipines. Jean is an unselfish and incredibly hard-working wife, mother, daughter and sister who helps both companies with our detailed, skill-based work. The devastation they recently faced in the aftermath includes the destruction of their home and her ability to consistently work to provide for her family.

Yet, even in the face of this total loss, Jean is traveling about the area finding electricity and working wifi to keep her small business moving forward -- operating without skipping a beat. (We do NOT expect her to show up at all, but that’s who she is and she honestly welcomes the distraction!)

WE ARE RAISING MONEY FOR…

 

Our highest priority, especially after 15 typhoons hitting the area just in 2021, is life safety. We never want to know she is huddled in a four-concrete walled room with her son, Kai, and husband, hoping they live. NEVER AGAIN.

 

Our second priority is ensuring continuity of business operations. Jean IS a Bombshell: a fierce, female business owner who gets things done for her customers (US)! By being a small business owner, she also contributes to her local economy and employing others. (Did we mention she is also a HARD worker?)

 

 

 

That’s why we are raising $20,000 (USD) to:

 

*Build a typhoon and earthquake-proof home.

*Purchase a generator for when the electricity goes out.

*Possibly instal solar panels for consistent, natural electricity year-round.

*Replace furniture, clothes, and other items lost.
