Jayone Johnson (34) Stroke Victim

Hi.  My name is Kristy Tierce. 

Jayone Johnson is the father of my 10 yr old grandson Jayone Jr.  He is 34 yrs old and lives in Lawton,  0klahoma.  On March 22nd of this year he suffered a stroke.  He was taken to Integris Baptist Medical Central center in Oklahoma City and is currently in ICU.  The stroke has left his right side paralyzed and his speech is also affected.  He is going to require extensive physical and speech therapy to regain the use of his right side and help him to speak normally again.   At this time we do not know how long his hospital stay will be,  or how long it will be before he is able to return to work.  Therefore,  we are trying to raise immediate funds to help pay for his day to day expenses for after he is released from the hospital, while he is  recovering and until he can return to work. (ie: food, rent, utility bills, car payment, as well as expenses for his son and anything else they may need. These funds will help to ease the financial burden he is going to encounter as he embarks down this long road to recovery. This stroke has really had a traumatic effect on Jayone Jr.  He and his dad are so close.  Anything we can do to keep his life as close to normal as possible while his dad is getting better would just be such a blessing .  We are also  trying to raise funds for any medical expenses that will not be covered under his insurance.  Jayone is a gentle giant of a man.  But his size in stature doesn't come close to comparing to the size of his big heart.  We want to give him the best chance for a full recovery, as possible.  These funds would enable him to concentrate fully on his recovery and hopefully get him well that much faster.  As we all know,  financial worries are very stressful and that is something we don't want him to have at this time as we feel it will only hinder in his recovery.
