Help Jayce Not Be In Pain!

Jayce is a wonderful person who is always striving to help make life better for the people and animals around him. Jayce works tirelessly as an adoption counselor and loves helping pets find their forever homes. In his free time, Jayce serves on the board of a rescue group dedicated to saving the lives of dogs who are facing euthanasia. Unfortunately, the pain from binding is getting worse every day and threatening Jayce's ability to continue to make the lives of pets better in his community.

 

He is scheduled to get top surgery so that he no longer has to bind but found out at the last minute that insurance would not cover the surgery and Jayce is $4000 short. Please chip in anything you can so that Jayce does not have to further delay the surgery and doesn't continue risking his ability to do the work he loves.

 

Binding is something that trans guys do to flatten their chests and alleviate some of the distress of gender dysphoria. Binding is incredibly painful and can dangerously restrict lung capacity and is also an absolute necessity for some trans guys to feel comfortable in their own bodies. A job like Jayce's, which involves being active and bending and handling big dogs, can make binding even more difficult and can lead to permanent damage. Top surgery creates a more masculine chest shape and removes the need for binding.

 

Jayce is a wonderful, caring person who wants to do all he can to help out others. He deserves to be able to exist in the world without having to endure this pain all day, every day.
