Help Jaxton Heal After Severe Burn Accident
Donation protected
On Thursday, July 17th, 2025, our 13-month-old son Jaxton suffered a devastating accident when boiling water spilled on him, causing second-degree burns over 70% of his body. He is currently receiving specialized burn care in Colorado, far from our home in New Mexico. The road ahead is long—Jaxton may need skin grafts and will require months of ongoing treatment, with frequent travel between states for follow-up care after discharge.
As Jaxton’s mom, I am staying with him in Colorado while his dad, Alex, remains in New Mexico caring for our other children, Luna and A.J. This separation has been incredibly hard on all of us, especially Jaxton, who misses his siblings dearly. We are doing everything we can to keep our family connected, including arranging for Luna and A.J. to visit Jaxton during his recovery. The costs of medical supplies, travel, food, gas, and daily living expenses are quickly adding up, and we are reaching out for support to help ease this burden.
Jaxton is a bright, funny, and playful little boy who loves to dance, chase his siblings and cousins, and is just learning to walk. Your support will help us cover essential expenses and allow our family to be together as Jaxton heals. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference for our family during this difficult time. Thank you for keeping Jaxton in your thoughts and prayers.
