Help Jas afford their Healer training program!

Hello! My name is Jas; I am a healer. I have received an invitation for an exclusive, collective learning, 2-year Healers training program. This training would transform how I practice as a healer. I cannot afford the program cost, and I am raising funds.

Who?

I am a healer, trainer, organizer, lifelong learner, tarot reader, and creative looking to live a spiritually rich life. I believe systemic oppression is a distribution of trauma and that healing is necessary for our individual and collective liberation. I am always thinking about/feeling out/practicing-to-embody what it means to live with integrity, build community, and practice relational accountability to skill myself, my people, and movement builders up with the hope of another world.

What?

I have received an invitation for an exclusive, collective learning 2-year Healers training program. There are only eight trainees. This program explores healing in ways that are outside of mental health frameworks that have emerged within our capitalist, white supremacist context. This program will help train me to work with building psychosomatic and intuitive awareness for my clients and coaching them to integrate emergent wisdom in their lives.

The values that will ground this offering include:

- Harm reduction

- Liberatory analysis

- Holding competence with humility

- Emphasis on personal work and presence

- Critical pedagogy

- Rejection of mastery

Year two will consist of group and mentor supervision.

The program costs $8,000 - $12,000 (sliding scale: I will update the page when I know where I fall on the scale).

The deposit for this training is due November 1, 2022, and is $800.00.

Where?

I am Brooklyn based, and this training will take place in New York. However, I hope this training will soon allow me to work with clients across North America.

Why?

I do not have the resources to pay for this training. This training would support me in owning my labor, but your contributions will also help in my being able to take clients on a sliding scale (depending on their social location) in the future!

This training would support me in working in ways more aligned with the kind of healer I want to be. I have wished to work in far more psycho-spiritual ways grounded in a somatic practice. I also believe that being an impactful and supportive healer, organizer, and creative requires continued learning, education, mentorship, and feedback. Humility is a daily practice necessary for all of this.

When?

This training begins January 2023 and lasts for two calendar years. The $800 deposit is due November 1, 2022. You can either contribute to my gofundme or pay me on Venmo (jasminjigar) or CashApp (jasminjigar)
