Help Jana, Erin, and Matt bury their father

Donation protected
Last week, the Sowell/Thorp family lost their father, James to a year-long battle with Leukemia. After making a slight recovery, James was admitted to the hospital late last week, and succumbed to acute respiratory failure as a result of the leukemia on Wednesday in Austin, Texas. His wishes for his funeral were that he be sent back to Colorado, and that he have a natural green burial in Estes Park. Unfortunately, the money set aside in his accounts for this burial has been frozen by his wife and his kids (Jana, Erin, and Matt) do not have enough money to bring his remains back to Colorado so that he can have the burial that he wanted. James would not have wanted his children to bear the burden of family pettiness and conflict, however, they have found themselves in the unenviable position of having to find a way to bring their father home to rest. James served in the Navy, as well as in the Army, and Army Reserves. Part of the costs will be reimbursed by the military, however the family still needs quite a bit of money to get him to Colorado and cover the initial funeral expenses.  All three of his kids were with him at the end, and were forced to come back to Colorado without him, as they didn't have the money to bring him home. James served his country in many ways for many years, and led his family with warmth, love, and humor for his entire life. Please help them bring their father home so that their entire family can say goodbye, and can give him the final farewell that he wished for.
