My name is Jaisha, and I am reaching out for help as I work to reunite with my daughter and start a new, safer chapter in our lives. For some time, I have been living in an abusive marriage. It was a heartbreaking decision, but I sent my daughter to stay with my mother so she would not have to experience the pain and fear I have been facing. Now, I know it is time for me to leave as well, so I can be with her and give us both the chance for a better future.
