Help Jade Fund Cancer Treatments

On December 31, 2019 I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. This came as a surprise as it was discovered during a routine Pap Smear.  After doing extensive research, I’ve decided that I want to work with an integrative oncologist. This is a doctor that offers both western and holistic treatments. The downside to choosing an integrative oncologist is that nothing is covered by insurance. I will have to pay out of pocket for 100% of my treatments. The benefits to working with an integrative doctor in comparison to a traditional oncologist are endless. One being that I will be able to preserve my fertility (at 30 years old with no children, this is something that is very important to me) the treatments offered are much more targeted and my actual genetics are considered when creating a treatment plan. I will also be able to avoid the toxic and sometimes deadly effects of chemotherapy and radiation. The money raised will all go towards the necessary treatments. These treatments range from IPT (low dose chemo), Photodynamic Therapy, Sonoelectric Pulse Therapy and a few others. My specific treatment plan has not yet been decided and won’t be until the genetic testing is done. Treatments range from $300-$3000 per treatment and I will likely do several different treatments many times. The total cost will be between $30-$50k. In addition to these therapies, Cancer Center For Healing also promotes a healthy mind, body connection. They encourage prayer and meditation and offer intense counseling services, all things I greatly agree with. This clinic is reputable with a good track record and experience in treating cervical cancer specifically. If you’re able to contribute financially, I will forever be grateful. If not, I will be equally grateful for your encouragement and prayers. Please do not consider me a victim, I’m not asking for sympathy. I truly believe I will get though this and look forward to sharing my story with others in the future. Cancer is on the rise, 1 out of 3 will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime and the numbers are increasing. It is expected that in the near future, cancer will affect 1 out of 2. Cancer is not a death sentence, there are many options out there aside from toxic chemotherapy and radiation. I look forward to being an example of this and sharing my experience with others that find themselves in the same situation.
