Help Indian Student who met with Tragic Accident

Hi, I am Sampath Bhargav Pinnam, a graduate student at University at Buffalo. My sister, Sree Likitha Pinnam, is a graduate student in Computer Science at Wichita State University. On the night of 30th January 2023, my sister met with an accident while traveling in a car with her friends to Arkansas. The accident took place on a highway, approximately 15 minutes away from Bentonville, Arkansas. Due to the extreme weather conditions and sleet on the road, the car slipped and went out of control. The car flipped twice, and her head was severely injured. She became unconscious. All her friends suffered minor injuries. Another driver on the road noticed them and took them to the hospital (Mercy Hospital, Northwest Arkansas), where she was rushed into the emergency ward.

After the doctor’s evaluation, she is diagnosed with a very severe traumatic brain injury that includes diffuse axonal injury, anoxic brain injury and multiple small bleeds in her brain. Currently, her condition is critical, and she is on a ventilator. She is not responding for the past few days and is currently on life support. Doctors are not able to predict when they can discharge her, as her condition depends on her response, but they estimate it can take months or even years to recover.
