Help Imran achieve his dream.. an education in USA

I have had the honor of knowing and mentoring Imran for the last 2 years.  He is currently a student in Kunar province in Eastern Afghanistan near the Pakistan border. As with most of Afghanistan the area is unstable, dangerous and poor and right now most of Kunar does not have electricity for most residents.  Solar panels are the answer for now which does not provide much in the way of power. There have been suicide bombings, explosions, gun battles in this area many times seeing as it is so close to the Pakistan border with many fatalities.  In the midst of this instability, Imran has managed to pursue his education both in high school and starting at Said Jamaludin Afghan University.  He is the oldest of 7 children and will most likely be the only one in his family having the opportunity to attend university due to costs and safety concerns. Right now all schools and universities are closed in Afghanistan due to COVID but also due to security concerns since there have been several bombings and attacks on schools all over the country causing many deaths and fears.  Imran's dream has been to continue his English studies at a university here in the US but specifically here in Connecticut.  He wants to continue his undergraduate studies in Economics and ideally continue on to Masters and PhD. 

As I stated earlier it has been an honor getting to know Imran and developing a strong mutual friendship from 6600 miles away but also being his mentor and offering guidance in his pursuit of a college education here in the US.
Right now the plans are to attend the English Language Institute at the University of Hartford for 22 weeks and then enter the Economics program at Manchester Community College for 2 years or continue on at the University of Hartford for 4 years.

Imran comes from a very poor area and funds are non-existent to attend a university here and follow his dream. I have come to see his determination, skills, motivation, intelligence, sensitivity to his  surroundings, passion for education and his commitment to better his life as well as his family's well being.
I am hoping to fund his education from beginning to end.  Knowing how many thousands of dollars it takes to achieve this goal, I am asking each of you to help with this worthy endeavor.
