Help Iman Beat Cancer

I've created this GoFundMe for my dear friend Iman, who's basically a sister to me and all those around her.  She's currently battling breast cancer that has spread throughout her vital organs. She's been on treatment since she was first diagnosed in 2013.  The medications and treatment available through conventional methods have unfortunately stopped working,  and Iman's only hope is a clinic in Germany, but her insurance does not pay for this treatment. She has depleted her savings for the treatment to fight for her life.  So far, she has seen some progress but the lack of funds may bring this critical treatment to a halt. 

Over the last 7 years, Iman has gone through multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, and many medications. She always maintained her hope and positive outlook that she'll be okay. Iman exudes positive energy and boundless compassion to help those around her.   She has always been independent and gives those around her positive energy and hope for tomorrow.  So, it's not easy for her to be in this predicament.

Sadly, at the end of last year, her doctors informed her that the medication she is on has stopped working.  Unfortunately, that medication allowed the cancer to further metastasize into her spine, lungs, and liver.  Her condition began to worsen this year, and in March 2020, at 43 years old, she was placed in hospice care, as the medical system's last resort to only control pain and merely provide comfort. This news was devastating to her, but she continued to persevere and knew there was hope. 

Although her doctors and health insurance gave up on her, she researched and found a reputable clinic in Germany that treats late-stage advanced cancer using both western-medicine (chemotherapy) and alternative medicine. Unfortunately, she has depleted all her savings and exhausted all her funding options on her treatment.  Her condition is critical as the cancer has spread throughout her body, but the treatment in Germany has shown positive results.  I created this GoFundMe campaign because I know she will get better with the treatment,  but we are just out of financial resources. She has come a long way to have to stop treatment now due to monetary reasons or to accept hospice at such a young vibrant age. Now, this fund is her only hope for surviving and battling this aggressive disease.
