Help iets met dieren de coronacrisis door!

(English below) Hallo allemaal! 

Ik hoop dat jullie en je naasten de coronatijd goed en gezond doorbrengen! Qua gezondheid doen wij dat ook. Maar het brengt ons wel een berg extra zorgen in deze onzekere tijd. 

Zoals vele van jullie weten vangen wij vele dieren op, zij waren niet meer gewenst bij hun vorige eigenaar. Huisdieren als in een hond of kat maar juist ook vele 'bijzondere' dieren, al vinden wij ieder dier bijzonder ;). Verschillende reptielen, vogels, knaagdieren, insecten, weekdieren noem maar op. Vaak zijn dit dieren waarover de vorige eigenaar niet heeft nagedacht bij de aanschaf over bijvoorbeeld: Hoe oud ze worden, wat hebben ze nodig aan voer of verzorging, hoe groot wordt het dier, wat voor geluid (overlast) veroorzaakt het dier, past het in onze thuissituatie etc. 

Wij vangen met liefde en plezier deze dieren op en geven hun een forever home bij ons. Wij helpen hier de dieren mee die wij kunnen opvangen maar zo kunnen wij niet alle dieren helpen. Daarom geven wij educatieve dierenvoorlichtingen op scholen, zorginstellingen, feestjes overal waar ze maar iets over onze dieren willen leren. Wij vertellen over leuke weetjes en feitjes maar het belangrijkste van al waarschuwen wij spelenderwijs wat er allemaal bij komt kijken. Wij hopen zo te bereiken dat mensen niet meer zomaar een dier aanschaffen. Lees je eerst goed in wat ze nodig hebben want dat moeten ze krijgen van jou!


Door deze verschillenden diensten te geven kunnen wij de opgevangen dieren onderhouden. U raadt het al. Door de coronacrisis kunnen wij bijna geen voorlichtingen meer geven. Dit betekend dat er dus ook bijna geen geld binnen komt maar onze kosten lopen uiteraard gewoon door. De dieren hebben alsnog hun voer/verrijking nodig, nieuwe (bodem)materialen, lampen, medicijnen, nieuwe verblijven, dierenartsbezoeken etc. alles gaat hier gewoon door. 

Wij hebben dus jullie hulp hard nodig om deze tijd te doorstaan. Dat betekend dat we dit nu nodig hebben en heel de periode  dat wij geen diensten kunnen verzorgen door de corona. We zouden dit uiteraard niet vragen als het niet nodig was!

We willen natuurlijk ook iets terug doen voor jullie. Je mag anoniem doneren maar doneer je met je naam zet dan ook even een reactie onder onze facebook post over deze crowdfundactie. Onder deze namen verloten wij iedere maand verschillende artikelen als blijk van waardering!

Vanaf 25 euro loot u mee voor een keuze uit verschillende 'ietsmetdieren' sleutelhangers of vervellingspakket, deze wordt naar u opgestuurd.
Vanaf 75 euro loot u mee voor een keuze uit verschillende 'ietsmetdieren' mokken, deze wordt naar u opgestuurd.
Vanaf 250 euro loot u mee voor een educatieve dierenvoorlichting op uw locatie.

Hello all!

I hope you and your loved ones are spending the corona time well and healthy! We do the same in terms of health. But it does bring us a lot of extra worries in this uncertain time.

As many of you know we take care of many animals, they were no longer wanted by their previous owner. Pets like dog or cat, but also many 'special' animals, although we think every animal is special ;). Various reptiles, birds, rodents, insects, molluscs you name it. Often these are animals that the previous owner did not think before purchasing. For example: How old do they get, what do they need in terms of food or care, how big does the animal get, what kind of noise (nuisance) does the animal make? our home situation etc.

We take care of these animals with love and pleasure and give them a forever home with us. We help the animals that we can take care of, but we cannot help all animals. That is why we give animal education in schools, care institutions, parties, and wherever they want to learn about our animals. We tell about facts and fun facts, but most importantly we warn in a playful way what is involved when taking care of animals. We hope to achieve that people no longer just buy an animal. First read carefully what the animals need, because they should get it from you!

By providing these different services, we can provide for the animals that have been taken care of. You probably guessed it…. Due to the corona crisis, we are no longer allowed to provide these services. This means that no money comes in, but our costs will of course continue. The animals still need their food / enrichment, new (soil) materials, medicines, vet visits, etc. Everything just continues here.

So we desperately need your help to get through this time. That means that we need this now and for the entire period that we cannot provide services because of the coronavirus. Obviously we wouldn't ask if it wasn't necessary!

Of course we also want to give something back to you. You can donate anonymously. When you donate with your name, please leave a comment under our facebook post about this crowdfunding campaign. Under these names we will raffle different articles every month as a token of appreciation!

From 25 euros we’ll raffle a choice of different 'iets met dieren' key chains or molts.
From 75 euros we’ll raffle a choice of different 'iets met dieren' mugs.
When your name is picked, the mentioned appreciations will be sent to you.
From 250 euros you will participate in educational animal education at your location.
