Help Ibrahim and Jamal to safety!

Hello wonderful people,

My friend Ibrahim and his family have been displaced from Gaza city to Rafah, where they now remain among hundreds of thousands of displaced people. Their houses were bombed, as is almost 90% of infrastructure in Gaza.

At just 25 years old, Ibrahim, a dedicated husband and father to a young son, has personally experienced the upheaval of displacement for the past three months. Despite the challenges, he and a group of young displaced men have joined forces and built a number of fortified tents and bathroom facilities for those displaced.

Me and Ibrahim got in touch at the start of the war. We talk everyday, and he has become like a brother to me. FInancial institutions and platforms keep blocking Palestinians from their funds and accounts, so I decided to set one up for him. This is his message:

''Ibrahim Abu Raida is a Palestinian from Gaza. He is married and has a young child named Jamal (the king as he likes to be called). The Israeli army demolished the house that Ibrahim built so that he could build a small family for himself and they could live happily with each other. Should we leave Ibrahim alone, should we leave them to live? In the street, do we leave them without cover and without shelter? Certainly not, and we will not accept that we ignore them and pay attention to them. Therefore, we launched this campaign in order to help Ibrahim rebuild his house and rebuild a children's room for little Jamal, who was deprived of his childhood in his home by the occupation.''
