Help Hurricane Dogs in Quincy
Donation protected
Please help us save dogs affected by Hurricane Harvey! Alpha Dog Training Center is opening it's doors Saturday, September 9th, 2017, to 19 homeless dogs from the Houston area. We are donating housing, day to day care and rehoming efforts. In order for us to take these dogs into our facility, all dogs must have health checks performed by a licensed veterinarian, vaccinations, flea/tick prevention and heartworm testing/prevention medication. All other donations will go toward day to day feeding and spay and neuter costs. 100% of donations will go to care for these dogs.
With everything going on in Houston and now Florida, GoFundMe is reviewing all campaigns related to these topics. We have been asked to update this page to include more specific information and are happy to do so. Elizabeth Boyer is the Owner of Alpha Dog Training Center, which is a training, boarding and doggie daycare facility in Quincy, IL. She has been in the business of helping dogs for nearly 20 years. As the business owner she is responsible for the 19 Hurricane Harvey rescue dogs that were transported from Houston to Quincy and is providing all care until adoptive homes become available. All of the monies raised in this campaign are being spent on the following: Heartworm testing and treatment, flea/tick prevention medication, vaccinations(including DHLPPC, Rabies and Bordatella), antibiotics for sick dogs, spay and neuter costs and dog food. All donations will be sent through the Alpha Dog banking accounts and payment made via check to veterinarians office(s) and animal supplies store.
