Help Hunter Get a Laptop

Being a low-income first gen, it was incredibly difficult to maneuver through the logistics of pursuing an Engineering SB degree with a thesis. After returning to campus, my phone broke and, shortly after, my laptop broke for good. Luckily, my roommate's been letting me use his laptop but it's hard attempting to be Pfoho's HoCo Co-Chair, a PAF, a REP, and editor for the Indy while having to borrow my roommate's computer here and there to work on my thesis, watch videos for class, and submit assignments so that I won't fall behind.

Without a laptop and with my phone barely working, it's been incredibly difficult even to just return emails and download homework assignments. It's been tremendously stressful trying to stay on top of work and be a good mentor when I haven't had a stable relationship with technology. I'd like to make a joke about how helping me buy a new laptop will help me get back to being the Meme Queen you know and love, or how being able to binge-watch Netflix is better for my mental health than Lexapro, but at the end of the day I really just want to be able to continue working on my thesis while being good at my jobs (and not getting yelled at by my advisors because I replied to their email late) and not falling behind in my classes. It would be really nice to graduate on time and make my family and community proud of me with my degree and thesis project.
