Help Huey Beat Cancer!

A little over a month ago, I received a call from my little brother telling me he was going to be a dad for the first time; I couldn't be more excited for him! Just 3 days later, I got a call from my parents telling me he was in the hospital due to a seizure. After further examination by the medical staff, it was found his seizure was caused by a malignant tumor....later to be confirmed as cancerous... a rare and aggressive type of cancer which affects less than 5% of the adult population. His team of doctors worked quickly to get him into treatment to prevent the cancer from spreading further into his brain.

His treatment will be 6 months in duration and will consist of chemo medication infusion, radiation, and surgery. He is unable to drive or work during this time. Even after treatment, his body will need additional time to recover and heal, provided the treatment is effective and successful.

During a time most first time dads are preparing for a monumental event in their life, my brother is fighting for his life...to become a cancer survivor and be present in the life of his newborn child.

Any donations provided will be applied towards the rising costs of his cancer treatments and the remainder will be used towards helping him support his child as he heals until he is physically able to return to work. A little more about Huey: he is currently on disability due to his condition but was a full time instrumentation technician for a health care company. Prior to that, he served in the United States Navy and is a vet.
