Help Horacio Veganise the Bairro

We are Alex and Kajsa, 

we opened this small restaurant in the oldest part of lisbon, to create a cruelty-free alternative. 

We prepare Italian traditional food with influences from world cuisine. 


NEW TRADITIONAL COMFORT FOOD

We want to preserve the tradition of our grandmas’ and moms’ recipes but make It vegan. we strongly believe that the gastronomic culture should
be handed down from generation to generation
however without any animal being harmed. 


We want to thank you
the vegan and the not vegan
because every time a non-vegan person 
eat our food indirectly helps us to preserve
the environment and therefore saving lives.


All the ingredients are vegan home-made, 
and everything is made from scratch.

with someone who is part of our lives.
reminding ourselves of the taste of our childhood, 
of mom’s and grandma’s food.

At Horacio, feel free to feel at home

The restaurant will benefit from the donations, and also indirectly our friends the animals. Horacio will use the funds to renovate the establishment, get new furniture (table for dining, chairs, pizza station, refrigerator), and new electrical appliances, to name a few: food processor, kneading machine. We are planning to restore the antique ceiling in this 200 years old building  in Alfama; in order to recreate the Italian true trattoria atmosphere. 

We survived the pandemic thanks to our hard work and the help and support of our regular clients, although we aim to improve tools to improve the service and the quality of the food we prepare. 

Our idea is to use this money to have the opportunity to use all biologic ingredients and local produced, so Horacio can  support local business itself. 

Until now we were able to produce all our fresh pasta and pizza but is important for us to have the funds soon because our business is going and growing well, the request is rising so we need to increase and accelerate the production. 

All your support means a lot to us because we will be able to receive more clients so  less people will eat meat of any species. Everyone who will help us will receive a video recipe made by us, to tanks you for the support.
