Help Homeless POC Youth Secure Housing

Hello! My name is Paige and I am making this for my friend Noel. He really needs this money asap to secure housing as he is homeless right now.
Background: Noel is a Puerto Rican 22 year old male, trying to finish his undergrad, and is independent without any support. The money he had saved went quickly to pay for food and his other expenses. He lost a few weeks of work for seeking professional support for mental health and following that he was exposed to COVID (testing positive). Currently, he is staying in a poor living situation (sharing a room with a friend temporarily). He really needs to feel secure especially as he is struggling with a decrease in mental health. This money will allow him to pay a landlord what they are requiring on Friday 1/1 and get him into secure housing next week. He will resume working after he is cleared negative for COVID and should be able to cover the following months.
This money will allow him to have housing security, a basic need. Reaching this fundraising goal by Friday would be incredibly impactful to him and get him into a better environment asap.
Noel is an amazing individual, he is exceptionally down to earth and kind hearted. He is very hard working as he usually is always working more than one job. Your donations will be going to a very deserving young man going through an extremely hard time.
